Autumn

  Autumn is upon us, my favourite time of year.
Put on your wellies and kick up the falling leaves.
Get out into your local woodland and be inspired by our beautiful trees!!

  ..............Busy working away and preparing for my 2 week exhibition at ashdown gallery, forest row, 14th - 27th October.
Following this, an 8 week display at Sheffield Park Garden tea room and then we are almost into the big 2012 with lots more exciting events and exhibitions happening.

  My favourite thing at the moment.....getting into the studio, throwing on the overalls, holding a mug of coffee and watching the evening sun. The odd rabbit or deer skipping by and my mind full of new ideas and inspiration......the best.

BAFTA Screening of WOODLAND AWAKENING

Bleau Shanay Hudson and Sara Proudfoot Clinch have teemed up with the Woodland Trust and special guests to produce a short film called Woodland Awakening.
It stresses the importance of conserving our woodlands and trees, their vulnerability with the government intending to sell of a percentage of our publicly owned forests and how we must buck up our ideas to care and appreciate them more.

 Featuring Bleau and her art throughout it also tells the story of how Bleau has been inspired her whole life by trees and how her art is different with using natural and organic materials from the woodlands within her work.

 The screening evening shall be held at BAFTA, London Piccadilly in July with a collection of Bleau's art on show.

 Watch this space for further developments.

 Press, TV and Radio have been invited aswell as other guests and the film shall soon be available to watch on Bleau's website, the Woodland Trusts www.woodlandtrust.org.uk, www.rosyleeproductions.co.uk and You Tube

Well what an exciting few weeks. The Lindfield Arts festival was a great way to kick of this years exhibitions!! My canvas for Chestnut Tree House sold and I donated all the profits to the charity!!! Fantastic!!! What a beautiful tree that was to paint!

 I've since been away with Sara Proudfoot Clinch and film crew to shoot our film "Woodland Awakening"
This is a beautiful and inspiring film about woodlands, the environment and my art. Soon to be on my website and YouTube and sponsored by the Woodland Trust with some special guests featured!!

 Lots of hard painting going on preparing for this years many exhibitions!!
